Whale Watching

I got to go whale watching today, just south of Okinawa. They pass by the islands during their migration. It was really hard to get pictures of them on the camera-but it was amazing! At one point 2 of them were so close to the boat. John is going on the 7th and he's going to take the camcorder and hopefully get some good footage. But I was able to get a few pics.

Sunabe Seawall

We took the kids to the seawall just before sunset. Its the first time we went to walk around and to watch the sunset. You could actually see the sun (well the earth) moving as the sun went down!

January in Okinawa

I know its cold back home, but we just had a great weather weekend here. So we took the kids to the park, the beach, and the Sunabe Seawall. I never thought we'd be playing in the East China Sea-especially in January!
