More Pics

Inside the cave-now if I could read Japanese, I would tell you what the sign says. Oh wait...guess I should be able to speak it first-that may help!
This is during the performance of the Eisa Drummers. During the show the Shisha dog comes to life. The Shisha dogs are all over Okinawa. They are suppose to keep evil spirits away and the good spirits in.

Habu Sake. And yes it is a real-dead-snake in the jar. This is the most feared snake on the island, and the deadliest. We've tried regular sake-but no dead snakes please. The Japanese consider Sake to be "rice wine"-I don't think so! Think more along the lines of Moonshine.
